Onepoint Resin was a resin bound materials supplier based in Kent, being one of the few companies in the UK capable of drying, grading and bagging stone. Building up an excellent reputation with its customers over 10 years of trading they were able to establish themselves in a fiercely competitive market offering a holistic solution for resin contractors.
THE BRIEF
With an interest, competence, and reasonable experience in the computing hardware field, Onepoint offered for us to both spec out and build the infrastructure required for them to operate on a relatively limited budget, we didn’t hesitate to take them up on this offer.
THE SOLUTION
We went on to spec out seven fully functioning desktops, wiring them all up to a server cabinet for ease of maintenance, security and to limit noise. A vast majority of the cables were hidden to create a minimalistic and stress free environment enjoyed by workers and visitors alike.
THE RESULT
Onepoint went on to trade with ease using this hardware, improving the mood of its employees. Whilst having very little to do with design or anything of the sort, our perseverance shinned through during the troubleshooting phases to make sure the deployment was smooth, resulting in a highly reliable setup with zero hardware-based downtime. A rewarding, if not random, accomplishment.
